This last week Elliott, national salesperson for Green leaf Doors, and I traveled to Palm Springs to promote our bamboo door collection. Although we had heard about the vast array of wind generators it was awesome to see these giants lined up across the valley. It was a great trip and a chance to see the wind farm that consists of 3,218 units delivering 615 MW of power. Turbines range from 80 to 160 feet in height. We arrived a day to early to enjoy the modern festival, but will be sure to make it next year. All in all we visited approximately 12 architects and designers and made friends with Jim and the staff at Palm Springs Door and Window.
