My son Ramsey turned two yesterday and of course I wanted to give him a gift or two and as always want to purchase natural or non toxic toys. I searched the web and our local toy stores for wooden toys, free of toxic paints and finishes. I did come across a design competition that an Israeli university had preformed in China with the intent to develop toys from bamboo. The following pictures show off some of the processes and toys that were developed. Personally I like the dominoes that look like little people. Have fun and always look for environmentally preferable choices.
